Inspections
Kongsberg Ferrotech deliver a wide range of inspection methods, from visually inspection to NDT technologies integrated in our robotic underwater habitats. Our clients decide which NDT tools they need to adapt to our habitat for inspection purposes (for instance inspection of welds using X-ray techniques). Our robotic platform gives you access to the full circumference of your tubulars. Both general mapping and detailed sizing of defects can be performed from our digitally controlled system. We are cooperating with the leading suppliers of NDT technologies across the globe. All data from the inspections are stored into our digital twin tools.
Maintenance

Nautilus
Nautilus is a versatile remotely operated robot for inspection, maintenance, and repair of horizontal tubular applications on the seabed. Nautilus delivers a complete inspection and repair of subsea assets at sea depths up to 1500 meters.
Oktapous
Oktapous is an innovative robot for inspection, maintenance, and repair of offshore vertical tubular applications, mainly risers and conductors. Oktapous delivers inspection and repairs in one single mobilization without ROVs, divers, and other vessel-supported equipment.
Hullius
The Hullius robot is a self-propelled, all-in-one solution for inspections and repairs of vessels and other floating structures. Specializing in the permanent repair of damages by use of additive manufacturing techniques, the Hullius robot enables precise operations on the areas of interest with a controllable and clean repair environment. This robotic system can inspect and repair damages such as cracks, pitting corrosion and material wall loss above and below the sea line without use of manual intervention or divers.
